Always An Artist - Week 3
It's not a mood board!

I hope you like the picture, I took it over 3 years ago. I love landscape photography. This wasn't one my creative tasks this week, but maybe it will crop up in the future. Unlikely though, as I try to keep that creative hobby as just a hobby.
The picture actually served as inspiration for a poetry task I embarked upon. It was in response to a callout for poems to be included in a music project, and I'm trying to grow my libretto writing work, so I thought I'd give it a go. I used to write poems all the time as a kid, so it was nice to go back to that territory.
The poetry stretched across a few days' worth of tasks, as did the only other thing I did this week, which was read a play. There will be another mood board coming up. I did notice this week that I dedicated less time to these tasks, and I often only completed them right at the end of the day. This is mostly because the deadline for a funding application is looming, and I've been feeling the pressure.
However, the whole point of this challenge is to make sure that making art doesn't drop down my list of priorities while I'm busy "being an artist," or working to survive in the arts (the two are not always the same). Balance is tricky, but I'm working on it.
